Flight Path

A day of comings and goings.

The past week we had a short Indian summer, and I used the opportunity to rise moderately early and visit the Amelisweerd area near our town. (Look up the "Cowleg Diaries" in my gallery for older pictures.) On arrival, I spotted some nature photographers with tripods and telelenses trained at a piece of asphalt that even a New Topographics fan would consider dull. Possibly they expected to capture a red-spotted droodle or something.

Meanwhile, I went the opposite way along the river, enjoyed shooted dewed plants and meadows, sunrays playing through the foliage and this: a flight of geese, possibly arriving from the Arctic or Russia.
