Four Cantos - thanks and postage issue

Firstly, I'd like thank everybody who
Courtesy of some kind friends I found out that there is a weird problem with the postage of my Tuscany photobook. It's fine if you live in the USA or Canada and where I live I can get a few books delivered for something like 6 euros - the European Blurb orders are actually printed in the Netherlands. However, try to order it from somewhere like Serbia, and the postage explodes to something like 30 euros.
I don't know if that's based on sending the book from the USA or includes the costs of an armed escort, wooden sticks and garlick, but I can understand that prices like that are a bit off-putting, even if you'd be a huge fan of my work.
Now, here's the deal:
If you're interested in buying my book and you're not happy with the Blurb postage, note me. I'll see how much it costs to send it myself, and I'll try to nibble something from my margin and from your postage, and the postage should be around seven euros without registering (less if you get together with others who order too). Anyway, I'll give you a quote for book price + postage, and you can still decide if you want to buy or not. Payment goes through Paypal, just like on Blurb itself.
You can see the basic book price or consider direct sending at the book's Blurb page: [link]
The Africa Book - there's still time!
If you haven't done so already, you have until September 15 to contribute a photo or photomanipulation to #EL-SENSE's Africa book. I don't know know how many contributions there are, but there are a lot of good ones already and it will be a fine book to show off to friends and relatives if your art is in it as well. But, much more important, you'll be contributing to a good cause.
The Dresden-Leipzig guidebook... and others?
Almost simultaneously with the launch of my Tuscany book, my Dutch-language guidebook about Dresden, Leipzig and surroundings got off the printing presses. I'm creating a page with Saxony-related information soon, but it can be ordered online anyway - [link] .
If only they could get my name right.
I'm seriously considering ways to publish English-language guidebooks online or through the Apple store, if you happen to be a publisher, tourist board or someone else with serious plans, knowledge, ideas or money, let me know. I have photo material and info about places like Poland, France, Crete, Venice and Northern Italy, Londen, Vienna and then some more.
I have no immediate plans to create more photobooks, but if you're interested to see one anyway, I welcome ideas, suggestions and encouragement.
While I'm on this ridiculous commercial spree,
ID Features
It's been a while since I did a feature like these, but here a batch of IDs, self-portraits and portraits of the stunningly beautiful, talented, hilarious, interesting, kind-hearted and/or green-bearded people on my watchlist. If you don't happen to be on here, it doesn't mean that you're not any of those or that I hate you - the list is not complete, and anyway, I can be rather chaotic.
